If you have questions about your Medicare Advantage plan, need to switch plans, look at your part D prescription, or switch back to Original Medicare, please contact us to set up an appointment.

Also, VICAP is continuing its efforts to educate the community of seniors and soon to retire by providing free presentations in person or virtually. If you would like to set up a presentation concerning retirement, SSA, Medicare, and also FRAUD presentations due to exploitation with insurance, medical billing fraud, tax, and romance scams. Now is the time to contact us for information and to request a presentation for your group, organization, or employers.

This month we are highlighting:

 

Emergency Services – Provides, through donations from the public, eyeglasses, canes, walkers, wheelchairs, adult diapers, and other items.


Fan Care and Cooling Assistance – Placement of fans in homes of elderly who have a need for assistance. Air conditioners are given to those with no working air conditioner in the home and whose income is below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. This program is funded by donations from the public and recipients must meet income requirements and own their own home.


Emergency Food Pantry – LOA clients can receive one (1) emergency food bag per month. (Each emergency bag contains 5 shelf stable meal equivalents)
