Volunteer Spotlight: A Matter of Balance Coach

Ann Armstrong is a volunteer coach for LOA’s falls prevention program, A Matter of Balance. Ann has been a great leader, encouraging seniors to improve their health and spending dedicated time leading classes for LOA. Ann says: “It has been a joy and privilege to help facilitate the falls prevention program at LOA. Research shows that falls account for approximately three million ER visits annually and can quickly devastate a family’s life. Taking simple, proactive steps to help prevent falls can make an impactful difference in improving the quality of life in our community.” Thank you, Ann, for sharing your time and efforts to improve the lives of seniors in our community!
