In honor of the holiday season, LOA Offices will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26. We will also be closed on Monday, January 1 for New Year's.
LOA submitted 315 names for tags to Home Instead Senior Care for the annual Be a Santa to a Senior Program and over 1,000 tags total in the Roanoke Area were submitted. Thank you to Home Instead for sponsoring this program and allowing our clients to participate. And thank you to a wonderful community of "Santas" that make it all possible!

The LOA is always thankful to GE for providing huge boxes filled with food items for over 200 of our most neediest of clients. Staff and volunteers have been providing this service for over 20 years and is one of our best holiday traditions. Thanks to everyone who has played a part!
Early in December, the Meals-on-Wheels volunteers who serve our Covington and Clifton Forge areas were honored at a Holiday Open House. Many thanks to WestRock, Boy's Home and First Christian Church for making this event possible. LOA is truly blessed with so many wonderful and dedicated volunteers & supporters!
LOA Diner's Club participants gathered at North Roanoke Baptist Church for the annual Christmas celebration. They ate well and each club provided everyone with fabulous songs and entertainment. There was even a visit from Santa!
