EDWARD JONES - DEREK LARSON
610 Crossroads Campus Drive NE #107
763-682-6175

Officially moved to the Buffalo Crossroads Campus office just this past Monday, Derek has been with Edward Jones in St. Michael and actually has a long family history of Edward Jones representatives in his family. His Dad, Aunt and Uncle and Brother are/were all advisors.

There is some shuffling of advisors with Rob Stark moving back to the downtown office with Brandon Walters. Derek will be at the Crossroad office with Chris Vike and then we have Mark Rethman still in his current location off in the 205 building. That leaves Buffalo having 5 Edward Jones advisors that can help any customer with their financial planning needs.

Derek currently serves on the I-94 Chamber and just finished his term as the President of the St. Michael Rotary. Derek is excited to be working in Buffalo. He moved here in 2006 so the commute will now be short! Stop in and welcome him to town!

AMBASSADORS ON THE MOVE
LARSON BUILDING
200 1st St S
763-634-5600

As we could expect, it's been a good year for builders, but they could always use more help! Andy Larson enjoys the pace and complexity of commercial work. They are currently doing senior housing remodeling in Willmar, Burnsville and Inver Grove Heights, and the team just finished UMC in Monticello and the Highland Bank in St. Michael. They are also working on a couple of jobs in Wisconsin. They even donated their services to help build the Breakfast Club Barn in St. Michael. Google that one:)

The LB team consists of Project Managers and Job Supervisors. They contract out the work crews. They are looking for more Job Supervisors who manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities in the field.

Larson Building has been in DT Buffalo for 5 years in what was the Wells Fargo Drive through location. The building is eye catching with the colorful logo and design. He is outgrowing that space with his workload - not a bad problem to have.

Below are Ambassadors Jen Carlson and Emily Theisen, Ian, Andy, and Ryan of Larson Building with
Ambassadors Denise Koch and Tina Anderson. Looks like quite the work crew!
BUSINESS INFORMATION
MN CHAMBER OFFERS UP SOME SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESSES IN NEED OF STAFF

I know that staffing is a universal issue for every employer regardless of the type of work. It is something, from all I have been reading/hearing, that will not be resolved in the short term. We are still looking at getting a task force together of local parties across all sectors, to see what we can do locally. Stay tuned for that!

Below is a link of grants and programs that you might be interested in learning more about. Finding just one little nugget of new information that may apply to you is always worth checking into.

We have the job board alive and well at Buffalo High School, so if you have a job you would like posted there to that audience, just give us a shout. We will get it posted for you! You can also post on our social media - contact Suzanne for help on how to get into the "backside" of our website so you can list your openings. Every little thing helps! More eyes = more opportunity!
