Congrats Nonprofit of the Month
(sponsored by Blaze Credit Union)
CAPRW's mission is to invest in people experiencing poverty to build generational prosperity. This is even more important than ever, as we witness more and more individuals who, many for the first time, are requiring our services. We rely heavily on government funding for our programs, and donations to fill the gap. This donation may assist with a child safety seat so a parent can transport their child, items to assist clients be prepared for their new job, or items to help a family whom we have help to find a home. Your donations matter, we thank you and hope that individually and collectively, you can continue to help us help others.

| | Molly Coleman was born and raised in Saint Paul and attended Saint Paul Public Schools. She graduated from Saint Paul Central High School. After spending time out-of-state to attend college, work in public schools in New York City providing student support services, and attend law school, Coleman returned to Saint Paul, first as a renter downtown and now as a homeowner in Hamline-Midway, where she lives with her husband and son. For the last seven years, Coleman has been running the People’s Parity Project, a national legal advocacy organization that she co-founded in 2018 which aims to build a legal system that works for working people and a democracy that is truly governed by the people. She wants to build an economy—and a democracy—that works for working people, especially at the local level. Coleman loves this city and believes she has an obligation to do the hard work of building a more just, more equitable, more inclusive community here in Saint Paul in order to restore faith in the idea that it is possible to collectively build a better world.
