Hello, Chamber Members!
We hope everyone is enjoying Spring Break this week with your families. Thank you to those who were able to join us for the State of Healthcare & Business Expo on March 25, presented by East Georgia Regional Medical Center. It was a tremendous event with a packed house. Congratulations to Ogeechee Tech's Paramedicine Technology Program for being awarded Healthcare Partner of the Year.
The Chamber hosted a meeting between the city and county on Monday, April 7, pertaining to the servicing of the 5-mile fire district. Both the city and county will continue engaging in conversation on this issue in the days ahead. We will keep you updated on any information coming out of those conversations. As always, we encourage you to reach out to elected officials with any concerns or questions you may have. In the meantime, we encourage you to learn more about the Chamber's advocacy role here.
Congratulations to the Marketing Academy, powered by Georgia Power, graduates. They enjoyed 6 weeks of jam-packed learning. We are excited to offer this program again in 2026. Youth Leadership Bulloch applications are NOW OPEN. Please scroll to the bottom of this enewsletter to access the application.
We have several events coming up with Ribbon Cuttings, Business After Hours on April 17, presented by Citizens Bank of the South and our annual Golf Tournament on May 1, presented by Bulloch Solutions. We are sold out of teams and most sponsorship opportunities. We do have a few hole sponsors still available, so if you are interested in advertising your business with hundreds of tournament patrons, please reach out to Mandy at the Chamber.
