Next week's lunch menu

Reminder: Start of shift time change

As of Monday, Sept. 30 (next week), our work start time will be 30 minutes later due to shorter daylight hours. All-hands Safety Breakfast meetings will begin at 7:30 a.m. and Plan of the Day meetings will begin at 7 a.m.

First steel at Small Molecule

The Small Molecule construction team placed the building’s first steel last Friday, Sept 20. Teams from ADF/Midwest Steel have continued to make great progress on both the Small Molecule and the Peptide facilities.

Expect an uptick in concrete trucks at Small Molecule beginning this weekend and for the next several weeks including one pour starting Friday night, Oct. 4 and continuing through early afternoon on Saturday, Oct. 5.  Several hundred trucks will be part of each of these 1,000 plus yard pours.

Global Day of Service

Nearly 300 volunteers from Eli Lilly and Company and Fluor came together today for the annual Lilly Global Day of Service. Teams worked at Stone Eater Bike Park, downtown Lebanon, Memorial Park and Abner Longley Park picking up debris, weeding, cleaning and painting as part of the beautification efforts.

Hosting our neighbors

We hosted our neighbors for two cookouts recently. Lilly and Fluor team members met with about 35 neighbors living on the roads surrounding the project to answer questions, share a meal and give site tours. Having a good relationship with our neighbors is important. We all have a role in being a good construction neighbor.

Farm Safety

About 360 people checked into PepTalk last week. Were you one of them? You can provide your feedback as often as you want. Look for free-standing kiosks in the CUB and Peptide tents, or use the QR code on posters near common area entrance/exit points. Download tips.

Challenge coin presentations

Last week, Todd Dando presented challenge coins to team members for their work identifying project schedule improvements. So far, the group has identified nearly 50 recommendations that are under consideration for implementation.
