LPAS hit another home run in our collaboration with the City of Langley. The Langley City Family Treasure Hunt was a resounding success! Heartfelt thanks to wonderful staff of the City of Langley, as well as our own outstanding volunteers and Board of Directors. The response from Langley residents is sure to make this an annual event. Special acknowledgement must go to Lydia Francescutti from Brookswoode Senior's Center who was the master mind behind the whole event.

After the hilarity and hi jinx ended, we had TWO first place winners and one very happy recipient of the Children's basket of goodies from Stickies Candies in Langley. (rumor had it she had never won anything before, but her luck has changed for the better, it would seem!)

A huge shout out to our friends at Save-On-Foods who provided us with a tent, the much-appreciated water for our intrepid geo-cachers, AND our two first-place prizes. Enjoy the pictures from our great adventure!

One of our first place winners who won a gift certificate from Save-On-Foods. A great family with lots of enthusiasm!
Our other first placers won a super gift package from Save-On-Foods. Way to go to a very lucky mother-daughter duo!
Never Say Never!
This lovely young lady had "NEVER" won anything before. Well, thanks to Langley Pos-Abilities, The City of Langley and Sticky's Candy, she can never say "never" again! Congratulations to our children's prize winner. Eat all those goodies in the best of health, and THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING!

In the end, there could only be a very few winners, but there was treasure for all participants. Thank you again to the wonderful folks of Save-On- Foods who not only supplied everyone with bottled water, but even provided plenty of gold-covered chocolate loonies to fill our treasure chest! Chocolate for everyone!
