What an incredible year this is turning out to be! So many opportunities are opening up,that we at LPAS just had to take a collective deep breath, gather our thoughts and let you in on our exciting Langley Pos-Abilities news. Let's begin with a quick look back over April and May and then LEAP into what's coming up. Hold on to your hats, it's going to be quite a ride!

Save-on-Foods!

The great people at Save-On-Foods have given Langley Pos-Abilities Society a donation to cover the cost of six school TOAD workshops to deserving schools in the Langley area. Could your child`s school be one of the lucky recipients? Our first Save-On-Foods sponsored TOAD workshop
was held at Douglas Park Elementary. It was a blast!
Celebrating Respect and Diversity Week a t James Hill Elementary
We had our premier TOAD program at James Hill Elementar y in Langley. Volunteers guided the children through fun, interactive exercises to help them walk (or wheel!) a mile in the shoes of a child or adult with disabilities. It was a lot of FUN!!!!!

“Try On A Disability” ....was a big success...... Our students not only enjoyed the day with them but, more importantly, developed more empathy and a better understanding about life with a physical disability. We look forward to having Langley Pos-Abilities back at our school in the near future.” —Chris Wejr, Principal, James Hill Elementary School

Kids and teachers of James Hill agree!
TOAD
is an experience
of a
