As the Long-Range Plan presented at our last Congregational Meeting, the beginning of the updates and redesign of the west side of campus is fully underway! You will notice that the houses on Cherry Street and Warren Street are coming down in the next couple of weeks. While we still do not have a full design to present to our church family, know that work is being done to fully prepare our campus for the next steps!

Basic Needs Collection for North Carolina | |
Clean out your closets and declutter for the holidays! LPC Missions is partnering with Matthew 25 Ministries to aid the victims of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. They need gently used or new, practical clothing for all ages, especially warm items for mountain winters, plus shoes and boots. Personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, feminine products, all types of soap and cleaning supplies, diapers and formula are also needed.
Items may be dropped off on Tuesday, October 29 through Sunday, Nov. 2. PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF BEFORE THIS TIME AS WE HAVE NO AVAILABLE STORAGE OR AFTER AS WE CANNOT ACCEPT.
We will also be collecting bottled water from October 29 – November 2. Matthew 25 prefers that the water be in cases of individual bottles as gallon jugs tend to be punctured in transport resulting in spillage. Thank you for your generosity, as always, for people in need.

LPC Preschool and Daycare is looking for a substitute childcare assistant to join our amazing team! The person hired would fill in for vacations, if someone is sick, etc. Our hours are 6:45 AM - 5:30 PM, so any hours during these times may need coverage.
