Worship With Us This Sunday!

Hosanna!

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Hosanna in the highest!

This Sunday, we celebrate the entrance of King Jesus into Jerusalem.

Amidst the shouts and cheers of his disciples, the Lord rides into the holy city with tears in his eyes (Luke 19:41-44). He doesn’t weep for himself, but for his people who will reject their king, and in doing so, will condemn themselves. Yet he rides on to the cross to die for their sin and for ours! What a love!

Here are two helpful worship notes for this Sunday:

  1. Our children’s choir will lead us by singing at both services. Some of our children and their families do not regularly worship at LPC. Please make room for these families and make them feel at home.
  2. Be sure to pick up a palm branch from an usher upon entering the Sanctuary or Ark and wave it high as we worship our King Jesus.

Hosanna!

Jeff

A Missions Opportunity - Luke 5 Adventures

Luke 5 Adventures, based out of Mason, OH, is a nationwide organization that serves God’s children who are confined to wheelchairs (Hikers) by helping them go on amazing hikes they could not go on otherwise. They do so by utilizing specialized wheelchairs that are pulled and maneuvered by volunteers (Sherpas).

They are having a 24-hour fundraiser at the Lebanon YMCA on April 25 and 26. Many Sherpas are needed for one-hour time slots to help with the Hikers on a 2-mile loop at the YMCA bike trails.
