Thanksgiving Baskets
It’s that time of year again. We will provide Thanksgiving baskets to the needy in our community on Saturday, Nov. 18th. The need has never been greater. Extra pandemic benefits have ceased for many families, which helped with much-needed resources during the height of covid. While extra benefits have ended, the costs have endured. We currently have approximately 130 families to serve for this year’s campaign and want to serve as many as possible.

Christmas Giving at LPC
Giving is a Christmas tradition at LPC as we celebrate our Savior’s birth.
Five options are presented this year for your consideration.

Angel Tree
Share the hope of Jesus with a child in our community as we deliver a Christmas present and a personal message of love on behalf of their loved one in prison. It starts with a gift and opens the door for year-round ministry opportunities.
Thank you to everyone who took an Angel Tree tag. Please return the wrapped gift with the Angel Tree tag to the office by Friday, December 1. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. We can also make other arrangements if these times are not convenient.
Our Children’s Ministry Team is inviting the children, along with their guardian, to a birthday party for Jesus. They will have an opportunity to play games, make a craft and take home a goody bag and their Christmas gift.
If you have any questions or would like to hear of other ways you can help with this wonderful ministry, please contact Sherry Showalter at sherry@lebanonpresbyterian.org or 513-932-2751.

Elizabeth's New Life Center Giving Tree
Our church is happy to again participate in the Elizabeth’s New Life Center Giving Tree Project to benefit Women’s Center in Lebanon, a pro-life, non-profit pregnancy resource center that helps women navigate unexpected pregnancies and assists with parenting guidance and resources thereafter.
The consultants at the center encourage each mother to choose life for her child, providing her with assistance in her spiritual, material, educational, and medical needs. These material needs include baby clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, and many other essential infant care items. We ask that your family shares the joy of Christmas by donating an item listed on the Giving Tree ornament of your choice located near the stairway by the Sanctuary or the ArK. The items do not need to be gift-wrapped; they are used to help those in need throughout the year. Collection will run from Sunday November 26 through Friday December 15. For more information please contact: Melody Bain at 513-260-6041 or admin@lebanonpresbyterian.org.

Every year LPC has a Special Offering at our Christmas Eve service. Traditionally one half goes to a U.S. project and the other half is used internationally. This year, the Missions Committee has chosen:
5.7 COMMUNITY CHURCH in inner-city Detroit is starting a S.A.Y. Yes! Center for youth development. This afterschool program will feature tutoring, Bible lessons, life skills, art, and sports for ages six through 11. An anonymous gift was given for the start-up of the program and the Christmas Eve offering will add to it. 5.7 Community Church is a sister church of LPC; this summer our high school and college youth worked there and in the vicinity for the annual summer trip.
INDIA GOSPEL LEAGUE, one of our trusted partner organizations, has a God-inspired goal of building a church in every Indian village, ministering to millions of people, some of whom have never even heard the name of JESUS! Each church will only take about $1,500 to start, a small enough amount so that we should be able to construct several with the help of our members and families.
This year as you celebrate the joyous and abundant gifts that we are so blessed with in our country, we pray that you will generously give to the less fortunate in our midst and abroad, and remember that all we do is in the name of our Savior, the Lord, Jesus Christ.
