Lebanon Christmas for Tots

Unwrapped toys are being collected for children in need (infant – age 14) who reside in the Lebanon School District! A barrel will be in the Narthex for collection on Sunday, December 1 & 8. During the week, you may bring items to the church office. We try to keep gifts of equal value between $20 - $25 each. Children’s coloring books, hats & mittens, and wrapping paper are also needed. Monetary gifts are being accepted as well and will be used to purchase gifts! Please write checks to Lebanon Christmas for Tots! Any questions, please contact Mary Deerhake at 513-932-2307 or dmdeerhake@gmail.com.

Thank you for helping!

Staff Love Offering

If you would like to express your appreciation to our staff and wish them well for the Christmas holidays, a love offering will be received now through December 18. Checks can be made payable to LPC marked “Love Offering.” If you prefer to make a donation to a particular individual, please make the check payable to that person. Please note, only checks made payable to LPC are tax deductible.

It is almost time for LPC to commemorate Jesus' birth with our annual Outdoor Living Nativity. It will be on Saturday, December 7, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. during the Open House and Carriage Parade. We need volunteers to be characters for the manger scene - Mary, Joseph, 3 Kings and 2 Shepherds. If you are interested in participating, please sign up at the Information Table in the Narthex. Debbie Snider will be available to answer any questions after both services.

GIVING TREE

Our church is once again happy to participate in the Elizabeth’s New Life Center Giving Tree Project to benefit The Lebanon Women’s Center, a pro-life, non-profit pregnancy resource center that helps women to navigate unexpected pregnancies.

The consultants at the center encourage each mother to choose life for her child, providing her with assistance in her spiritual, material, educational, and medical needs. These material needs include baby clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, and many other essential infant care items. We ask that your family share the joy of Christmas by donating an item listed on the Giving Tree ornament of your choice or wish list provided. Please do not wrap these gifts as they are used to help those in need throughout the year. Please return your unwrapped donated item to the church between December 1 - 18. For more information, please contact: Melody Bain at 513-260-6041 or at mel.bain2013@gmail.com.

ANGEL TREE

Share the hope of Jesus with a child in our community as we deliver a Christmas present and a personal message of love on behalf of their loved one in prison. It starts with a gift and opens the door for year-round ministry opportunities.

Angel Tree tags will be available at the Information Table on Sunday mornings. If you would like to participate, please take a tag – they go quickly! When you select your child, please be sure to fill out the sign-out sheet so we know what child you chose, then purchase a $25 gift for your child and wrap the gift using the personalized message from their parent as the gift tag.

You can drop off your gift on Sunday morning at the Information Table or at the Church Office between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Thursday or 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. We can also make other arrangements if these times are not convenient. ALL GIFTS MUST BE RETURNED BY SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8.The children and their families will be attending a Birthday for Jesus on Sunday, December 15 to pick up their gifts.

Worship With Us This Sunday

As we begin in this season of Advent, we reflect on how Christ, the King of Glory, came to us as a humble baby, vulnerable and unassuming. No one could have guessed that the King would be born and raised in an unassuming town, to unremarkable parents, in the corner of the known world that no one thought much of. However, what will it be like when Jesus comes back to us? Will we know when it is happening? Join us on Sunday as we look to see what Jesus tells us himself about when he will return on that glorious day.

In the Sanctuary:

  • Traditional worship at 8:30 AM

In the Ark:

  • Modern worship at 11:00 AM
