ACA Marketplace Deadline - December 15
|
|
|
Reminder: self-employed entrepreneurs and small business owners with employees who are covered by, or eligible for, a plan from the ACA Marketplace must enroll in a marketplace plan between November 1 and December 15, 2017 to have coverage in 2018.

Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission

Please note that Illinois employers with one or more employees (including part-time employees and family members of the owner) must provide workers' compensation insurance. Sole proprietors, corporate officers, business partners and members of limited liability companies may elect to come under the Act or they may choose not to (except for employers in extra-hazardous occupations, such as construction and trucking). The Small Business Center (SBC) - Public Way Use Unit (PWU) issues permits to business owners who have any items that extend out (i.e. over, under, or on) to the public way from their business locations.
Inspectors have been reported in the neighborhood.
Please make sure that all signage, canopies, awnings, benches, sidewalk cafes, etc. have proper permits.
