BUSINESS NEWS

The Chicago sidewalk café season begins on March 1, and ends on December 1. Sidewalk Café Permits have a 12 month term, and must be applied for, and issued, every year.

Learn about the unique features of Chicago's Pop-Up business license including the license application and food protection requirements and process, as well as the benefit provided to existing Shared Kitchen Users and Retail Food license holders.

The Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) is coordinating closely with their state, federal, and City partners to take all appropriate steps to prevent the spread of illness. The health risk to the general public remains low in the U.S. and in Chicago. The CDPH has updated their guidance for business and organizations. Please see attached for more information.

The final Lincoln Common tower crane is coming down! Removal of this last remaining tower crane is scheduled to begin Monday, February 17. During this time, Orchard Street between Kemper and Fullerton will be closed to vehicular traffic.
