Dear Parents,

We had a wonderful time celebrating our Veterans on Veterans Day. Our Interim Superintendent, Mr. Corey Wise sent a message to all of DCSD celebrating our drive-through. Hopefully, you all got to see our Student Lighthouse out front with balloons, signs, flags, and spinners making it such a festive environment.  Here is a link to our announcements which was tweeted by the DCSD Communications department. Our little hidden gem of a school has received quite a bit of attention lately!

Please watch for the district to communicate about a decision regarding going remote. If you watched the board meeting you know and understand what a complicated decision this is with so many moving parts. I am so thankful to the Legacy Point community for all of your care and consideration regarding masks and keeping kiddos home when they don't feel well. Because of you, we have been able to stay face to face much longer than most schools. Whatever the decision, you can count on your LPE staff to continue with quality instruction. We have plans in place that will make a remote learning environment purposeful and supported. Please watch your email. More to come.

We appreciate your support of the King Sooper Program. Legacy Point received $600.00.

Thank you for all of the well wishes for my birthday. I am truly thankful to all of the staff, students, and parents who make up this amazing community. Have a wonderful weekend.

Every Student, Every Family, Every Day
Hello LPE!
This month students are learning about the exciting sport of Speed Stacking in PE! Speed Stacking is a world wide sport where competitors see who can stack special cups in a predetermined pattern the fastest! Competitors range in age from 3 - 70! The sport of Speed Stacking is great for working on eye-hand coordination, fitness and it engages both sides of the brain. I have put together a Group Order for our school (see flyer below). This is a direct order so when you order, your Speed Stacks will come right to your house! The best part is LPE gets a percentage of each sale to purchase equipment for the gym! Speed Stacks also make great stocking stuffers!

King Soopers $$$

LPE can earn money through the new program at King Soopers that links your regular King Soopers rewards card used for coupons and fuel points to the LPEaccount; when you swipe your card for your coupons and points at checkout, Legacy Point will receive a portion of your purchase back. The program does not cost additional money or time to use. The funds raised with this program are going toward updating classroom environments. Thank you for your continued support of our school!
