LPGA-AGA LI ELECTION PROCESS

In compliance with LPGA-AGA National, our LI Chapter will be conducting our nomination and election process.

The Call for Nominations listing the open positions and descriptions of responsibilities will be emailed to all members in good standing on Monday, August 3^rd. You will have an opportunity to nominate yourself or another member whom you feel is qualified. The deadline for nominations is August 17^th.

After the Nominating Committee has vetted all candidates, a slate will be presented to the Board for consideration.

The membership will be receiving the election ballot in early September with a reminder to vote the following week. Voting closes on September 15^th and the membership will receive notification of the new Board on October 1^st.

2026 Membership open

Reminder, members must be current in their dues to register and participate in Association-wide and Chapter events and receive complimentary access to LPGA Tour events. 2025 memberships expired on 12/31/25 and members have until 3/31/26 to renew at the regular rate before being charged the rejoin rate. Those who haven't renewed their membership are considered no longer current. 

2026 Membership Dues Rates will remain the same as 2025.

Please note: the renewal button will appear for members in their Member Clubhouse profile as of Saturday, November 1, 2025..

Basics of Golf: Rules, Etiquette and Handicapping

ATTENTION :

On August 17th at 7PM,  Maureen Mahoney, our Golf Education Director will be hosting a Zoom call covering some of the basic rules of Golf, Etiquette and Handicapping.

Do you know how to take a Proper drop from a Cart Path or when you are entitled to free relief?  More information will be sent out via email with a registration link in the next few days.

This session is perfect for new golfers.

Just a reminder of the importance of maintaining the proper pace of play. Regardless of the venue or the players’ abilities, golfers are expected to keep up with the group ahead at all times. Failing to maintain the pace by allowing a gap of one or more open holes in front of your group, or refusing requests from course personnel to pick up the pace reflects badly on our organization and can damage our relationship with our host courses.

The warmer weather means more crowded courses and sometimes slower golf rounds, but let’s all do our part to ensure that our members are never the cause of the slow play.
