Spots are still available for this awesome event! Join us for the St Patrick's Day Weekday event on March 16, 2026 at the Links at Lakehouse in San Marcos.  It is set just adjacent to Lake San Marcos and you'll enjoy the views from the various elevation levels on the course. 

Your registration includes cart and range balls. Their practice area includes large chipping and putting greens as well as the range itself. We will convene at The Grill restaurant after our round for prizes and cheer! Don't forget to wear your St Patrick's Day attire!

Guests Welcome! We are venturing back to one of our favorite courses in North County for a fun day of great golf, good friends, and many prizes! There will be special prize drawings for Guests, Members who bring Guests, and for all Members.

Also, a bonus - all players will get a drink ticket!

After the round, we’ll gather in the Shawii Kitchen for game awards, prize drawings and good cheer!

We will also have a 50/50 opportunity drawing, with half of the proceeds for the winners and half to support our Chapter. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event. Cash only please.

What is the Players Cup?

Whether you are a seasoned LPGA Amateurs - San Diego member or new, the Players Cup is a season-long competition that is much fun.

When you play an eligible event, you earn participation points; if you finish in the Top 10 of those participating in the Players Cup, you earn additional points. At the end of the season, the Top 10 finishers in each division, NET and/or GROSS earn money.

It is easy; register using the Registration Button below, $20 for each division, and play in our qualifying events.

Throughout the season, you can track how you are doing after each event on our website or via Golf Genius.

Countdown to Cal Cup 2026!

This is a team match play competition taking place at the Anaheim Hills Golf Club on November 6-7, 2026.  

In order to qualify for the team to represent the San Diego chapter, we have a new qualification process to earn a spot on our team based on both LPGA Amateurs San Diego event participation and match play results. We reward loyalty AND match play match results to help us form the best match play team to represent our chapter in November.

Mary Shepperd’s clinics are VERY POPULAR and informative. Our Chapter is fortunate that she volunteers her time and shares her expertise with our members. Mary has well over 20 years of experience volunteering as a Rules official and has worked over 50 national championships for the USGA, including US Opens and many Women's US Opens.

SIGN UP if you are new to golf, want a refresher to increase your knowledge of the Rules of Golf, want to feel more confident about the course in regular play, or even in competition.

Meet some other members and enjoy a fun putting contest while learning!

Registration will open next Tuesday, March 10th.

Have Your Friends Renewed for 2026? 

Thank you to all our members for supporting our Chapter and LPGA Amateurs by being a member in 2026! We are excited to see that many Chapter members have renewed their memberships for what promises to be an amazing year of golf, fun, and friendship! 

As our vision is enriching the lives of women through the game of golf, we want as many members to renew to continue to provide offerings to connect, learn, play, and enjoy more golf in 2026! Please take a minute to check in with your friends and playing partners to make sure they remember to renew by the March 31 deadline!  They can renew now by logging in My Profiles, visiting the Overview tab, and selecting Renew.  

As a reminder, members must be current in their dues to register and participate in Association-wide and Chapter events and receive complimentary access to LPGA Tour events. 2025 memberships expired on 12/31/25 and members have until 3/31/26 to renew at the regular rate before being charged the rejoin rate. Those who haven't renewed their membership are considered no longer current.

Fixing Damage to the Hole

Q. The hole is damaged – may I fix it?

A. Yes. You may repair damage to the hole, but not natural wear of the hole (see Rule 13.1c(2)).

Key Rules for Repairing Damage on the Green:

• What You Can Repair: Almost all damage, including ball marks, spike marks, damage from equipment, old hole plugs, animal tracks, and damage to the hole.
• What You CANNOT Repair: Damage caused by nature (rain/wind), natural wear of the hole, or maintenance practices like aeration holes.
• How to Repair: Use a tee, repair tool, club, hand, or foot to restore the surface, but do not take unreasonable time.
• Timing: Repairs can be made at any time, before or after putting, except if it is done to specifically influence a ball in motion.
• Penalty for Illegal Repair: If a player repairs damage that is not allowed (e.g., natural surface imperfections), they may incur a general penalty (two strokes or loss of hole).
