Mary's clinics are VERY POPULAR, and our Chapter is fortunate that she volunteers her time and shares her expertise with our members. Mary has over 16 years of experience volunteering as a Rules official in Northern and Southern California and has worked over 40 USGA national championships, including the US Opens and many Women's US Opens.

Announces the “Pre-Biggest Loser” Contest

Time is Running Out

Players Must Register by the end of this Saturday!

Don't hesitate to sign-up for this new contest. YOU must register by this Saturday, February 10th. The contest is free and winners get a gift from our new sponsor The Golf Bar.

Just like a New Year’s resolution, many players set a golf goal for themselves for the upcoming season.

Example goals Players set:

·      Reduce my handicap from X to Y

·      Play more often

·      Play LESS often!

·      Break 100, 90, 80, 70

·      Drive it longer

·      Reduce my 3 putts

And on and on….

Any of the above goals may help to improve your Handicap Index. 

This year we’d like to add some incentive for achieving whatever goals you have set for yourself. The San Diego Chapter is running our first “Pre-Biggest Loser” Contest this year.

Eligibility

All members are eligible. No registration Fee required.

Duration

Your handicap index as of 2/10/24 and the close of 5/31/24.

The contest will take your Handicap Index as of 2/10/24 and then your Handicap Index on 5/31/24.

Winners

There will be two flights. The winner of each flight will receive a simulator gift card from The Golf Bar, valued at $65.

Typically, LPGA Amateurs Corporate has run its Biggest Loser Contest from June 1^st – October 31^st. Get yourself in playing shape for entry into this one!!

LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open Registration Opens Feb 8

Phase 1 registration for the 2024 LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open will open on Thursday, Feb 8 at 1:00pm EST and closes on Monday, Feb 12 at 11:59pm EST. This popular event will be held on May 17-18 at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA. Click here for more event details.

Reminder: all 2023 memberships expired on 12/31/23 and members have until 3/31/24 to renew at the regular rate before being charged the rejoin rate. Those who haven't renewed their membership are considered no longer current. Members must be current in their dues to register and participate in Association-wide and Chapter events, and to receive complimentary access to LPGA Tour Events.
