Answers:

1.    True. A wrong ball is any ball other than the player's ball in play, provisional ball or a second ball played in stroke play. For example, a wrong ball is a stray ball, another player's ball, or the player's own ball that is out of bounds. See Definition of Wrong Ball.

2.    True. A term flagstick as used in the Rules includes the flag if one is attached. See Definition of Flagstick.

3.    False. Sand and loose soil are not loose impediments anywhere on the course. This does not include a mound built by a worm, insect or similar animal. Sand and loose soil on the Putting Green may be removed, See Definition of Loose Impediment.

4.    False. The edge of a penalty area extends above and below the ground. See Definition of Penalty Area.

5.    True. Wind and water are natural forces and not outside influences. This is important because the Rules are different when a ball is moved by natural forces versus an outside influence. See Definition of Natural Forces and Definition of Outside Influence.
