You don't have to have a low handicap to play in this 2-day event. Last year we had five flights, and 22 players with handicap indexes ranging from 6 to 32 won prizes. This year it could be you!

Vessel Sponsor - Once again, Vessel will provide our top prizes for this event. Low Gross over the field and Low Net over the field winners will receive a Vessel stand golf bag, and the top finishers in each flight will take home an extremely nice magnetic Vessel towel.

The 19th Hole Extended on Sunday - Susan Crawford is opening up her home, once again, to host our "Extended 19th Hole" after the round. She is literally only five minutes away.  
 
There will be food, beverages, a pool, and a hot tub. We have the Taquiza Caleb Authentic Mexican Food Cart that will be set up in Susan's backyard.

Must Meet Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a Member of the LPGA Amateurs San Diego Chapter.

  • Participate in a minimum of (3) San Diego Chapter events from December 1, 2022, to May 22, 2023. Participation includes both weekday and/or weekend SD Chapter events.

  • Establish a handicap index.

LPGA Amateurs Scramble Open Friday/Saturday at Indian Wells
Good Luck to Our Members
We are proud to wish all our San Diego Chapter members "Good Luck" this week in the LPGA Amateurs Association Scramble Open this Friday and Saturday at Indian Wells out in the desert.

We have three teams representing our San Diego Chapter. The first team, the "Desert Scramble," is captained by Vida Vela, and the team members are Karen Bridges, Jojo Hou, and Michelle Vela. Team two is called the "California Dreamers," Jane Langdon (captain), Mindy Sam Davis, Cindy Mason, and Dina Mauger are playing. Finally, team three is called "Who Needs Practice," with Stacey Hayashi (captain), Robin Banner, Nan Circo, and Christine Shimasaki "Shimo."

In addition, we have four dual members playing in the tournament for the "Orange Heat" and the "Four to The Dance Floor" teams.

Good Luck, Ladies. Have Fun, and Stay Cool!

2023 Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge Registration Open!
 
 Registration for the 2023 Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge is now open! This five-month-long, stroke-shaving competition challenges LPGA Amateurs members from across the Association. Prizes will be awarded to the member with the best overall improvement and the most improved member in each flight. Click here for rules and registration. Questions?
