HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY TO US!

Back in 1991, the original Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) was formed by a group of women in New York. They were working women who wanted to start a golf organization that held its activities primarily on the weekend.

Chapters soon started sprouting up across the nation. In 1994, a group of women in San Diego began organizing a chapter locally, and in September of 1995, they officially applied for affiliation with the EWGA — and it was granted. The San Diego Chapter was born. Happy 30th!

As many know, in 2018, the EWGA was acquired by the LPGA Foundation and EWGA became known as the LPGA Amateur Golf Association.

Today, the LPGA Amateur Golf Association is a passionate community of over 17,000 women of all golf abilities, spanning 130+ global chapters. We’ve come a long way baby!!!
