Play for P.I.N.K. (PFP) has raised over $85 million to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research—research that’s already saving lives, improving outcomes, and uncovering new approaches to this challenging disease. The Play for P.I.N.K. organization transforms PLAY into SERIOUS SUPPORT, and our Chapter’s leadership is proud to host this year’s event at Journey at Pechanga.

What began in 1990 as a single golf tournament among friends has grown into a nationwide movement, with PFP events now held in 30 states across the country. This is our moment to PLAY FOR IMPACT—and we need your participation to make it count.

Jeanette organizes three stations dedicated to chipping, pitching, and putting, ensuring a well-rounded, hands-on practice experience. She’ll provide instruction on essential techniques for each skill, guiding participants through proper form and execution.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to fine-tune your game, this clinic will help you lower your scores and build confidence around the green.

Join us for a frightfully fun day at the haunted Dos Osos Golf Club as we celebrate Halloween with the San Diego LPGA Amateurs.

If you’ve never played in this wickedly festive event, you’re in for a treat. Every year, golfers show up in jaw‑dropping costumes… and yes, they actually golf in them.

We’ll be awarding prizes for:

• …and more spooky surprises



Come ready to compete, cackle, and cause a little mischief on the course — this is one of our most spirited events of the year.

TURKEY BALL DATE UPDATE

Due to Cal Cup being played on Saturday 11/7 and Sunday 11/8, our chapter’s Turkey Ball event has been rescheduled to Sunday, November 22, 2026.

Course Etiquette - On The Tee Box

TEE TIMES - Be ready to play 15 minutes BEFORE your tee time

READY GOLF

The LPGA Amateurs typically play “Ready Golf” unless otherwise noted or when playing in a competitive tournament. When arriving at the tee box, whoever is “ready” first, can go on the tee box to hit.

ON THE TEE

Watch your ball’s flight and landing and try to remember the area by noticing trees nearby or colored patches of grass. Watch other player’s balls too.

SHHHHHHH! (Please Hold All Conversation)

Even whispering can be distracting to other players on the tee box. Stand to the side and out of the peripheral vision of the player on the tee box.

I THINK MY BALL IS LOST

If your drive landed somewhere that you think will be hard to find, outside of a penalty area, hit a provisional ball. Notify your foursome that you will “hit a provisional ball” and wait to hit until everyone else has teed off.
