Principal's Corner

Dear Lincoln Park High School Community,

Happy new year and welcome back LPHS students, teachers, and staff. I hope you are all coming back rested and ready for the start of a new semester on Monday, January 9th at 7:55 am!

Here are some general reminders to help get back in the swing of things:

If anyone is feeling sick, take a COVID test before coming to school on Monday.
We want all students to be on time to their first period class. Students should show up no later than 7:40 am to ensure they get to class on time. Doors open at 7:30 am
IDs must be visible and on your person at all times
Hall passes must be used at all times. No passes the first and last 10 minutes of class.
This is a fresh start for all classes. Let’s get on top of our learning. Students, if you struggled with a class in the first semester, it is ideal to be proactive to work with your teachers early in this new semester.

Have a chipper fine start to the new year.

ALL IBDP SENIORS!

All IBDP Senior students are required to meet with their Extended Essay supervisors for a Viva Voce Meeting. Viva Voce Meetings begin this week on Wednesday 1/11. Meetings take about 10-15 minutes each. Use this link to view the EE Viva Voce Schedule. These meetings are required as part of the IB Program, and students should be excused from class for their scheduled meeting. Please contact Danielle Crown ([email protected]) with any questions/concerns.

Come support your LP Pommies at the CPS Cheer and Dance Championships on Saturday, January 14th at Whitney Young High School. The Dancers will be performing their Castle Routine at 1:15 pm. We would love to see you there!
