The Bureau of Reclamation will be hosting three public scoping meetings early this January to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the Lake Powell Pipeline (LPP). Comments on the environmental impacts of the project and its alternatives will be considered in preparation of the Environmental Impact Statement.
We encourage you to attend the meetings and voice your support for this critical project that will increase the reliability of our water system for our growing region.
The meetings are scheduled from 6 - 8 p.m. in the following locations:
Tuesday, January 7: Kanab
Kanab Center, 20 North 100 East
Wednesday, January 8: St. George
Dixie Center, 1835 S. Convention Center Dr.
Thursday, January 9: South Jordan
Valley High School, 325 West 11000 South
