LPS Safety and Security

Tip of the Month

Each month our safety and security team will be providing tips and reminders for our staff in an effort to keep our staff and students safe while at school.

Tip of the month for November: A common phrase you have likely heard in recent years if you have been in LPS is See Something - Say Something. It is imperative that we all do our part and be committed to ourselves and others, and that if there is a situation that causes us alarm, that we report it to a building/department administrator through our Sprigeo reporting system. Oftentimes a concern or report about an individual or incident can be found not credible, but we would rather be able to look into a situation to confirm it is unsubstantiated. We have had great success over the years with being able to be proactive in dealing with situations and much of the credit can be attributed to See Something - Say Something.

Liberty Education Foundation November Update

The Liberty Education Foundation hosted their annual LPS Community Breakfast on Wednesday, November 2. This spirited morning featured a sneak peek into the Liberty High School fall musical (Disney's The Little Mermaid), the famous Liberty North High School Trombone Melee and Drumline, a glimpse into new Foundation programs and a district update from Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Tucker. The reception included a fun and delicious collaboration with local business, Blush Farms Cork+Board, and the Liberty North High School Culinary Arts Program. View event highlights here.

The Liberty Education Foundation loves November because they dedicate the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving to showing how THANKFUL they are for LPS faculty and staff! The month is packed with daily drawings, delicious treat deliveries, bright and comfy clothes days and fun competitions!
