The Coalition has done original research to show just how much our Class-A big cousins are being offered to participate in the Incentive Auction, and it is a lot! Collectively, the 430 or so auction eligible Class-A's, which still have a final stage of qualifying to go through this fall, as scheduled to receive as much as $65 billion, yes billion, in opening bids. These are the Greenhill 2.0 numbers. The estimated closing bids are now commonly thought to be 10% of this, or $6.5 billion. We used the official proposed FCC formula to run these numbers. And that is thought to possibly change also, and could go higher. Good luck to the Class-A's!
