NO LPTV DISPLACEMENT FUNDS UNTIL AT LEAST
FY 2020 10/1/19?
WITH THE REPORT AND ORDER FOR THE $150 MILLION IN RELOCATION FUNDING ANTICIPATED TO BE PASSED NEXT WEEK  BY THE FCC, THE REALITY IS THAT FUNDING IS NOT EXPECTED UNTIL FISCAL YEAR 2020, BEGINNING IN OCTOBER, AND THEN SOME...

AND HOW MUCH YOU INDIVIDUALLY GET IN RELO FUNDS IS ALL ABOUT WHAT IS APPROVED OF IN THE CATALOG...

Released: 2018-10-22. INCENTIVE AUCTION TASK FORCE AND MEDIA BUREAU SEEK COMMENT ON CATALOG OF POTENTIALLY REIMBURSABLE COSTS INCURRED BY LOW POWER TELEVISION, TELEVISION TRANSLATOR AND FM BROADCAST STATIONS. (DA No. 18-1072). (Dkt No 18-214 16-306 12-268)

T-MO HAS THEIR OPINION...

AND SOME REALLY BIG WINNERS IN THE INCENTIVE AUCTION ARE STILL COMPLAINING THEY DID NOT GET RELO FUNDS FOR WHAT THEY DID NOT SELL

COALITION COMMENTARY
When you read the fine print of the NPRM you soon see that both Congress and the FCC have put off the LPTV relo funds until FY2020, which begins in October 2019.  And it might take a few more months after that, so a Q1-2020 time frame might be correct.  We urge all of you which have been issued new CPs to check out the NPRM.
