BE GRACIOUS! BE THE GOSPEL!
Celebrate Freedom with Wisdom
!
Our good friend, Pastor Sam Harvin, stated in a recent conversation that he remembered a profound statement,
“War makes good people better and bad people worse.”
Wow! We have seen that in some of the conflicts and challenges going on in our world today. My prayer for all of us during this challenging season of COVID and national unrest in our country is that we will not only be better people, but gracious and forgiving people who genuinely reflect biblical Christianity. This includes respecting those with whom we may disagree. As I reflect, I am reminded of the song that many of us learned as children.
“Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, red, brown, yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.”
Regarding the discussion about whether to have “In Person Gatherings” in our churches or to only be only “Online” or “Outside” or any combination of these, please be gracious and understanding towards those who may conduct their services differently than you prefer. Recently I saw a sign that said,
“Kind people are my kind of people.”
Let’s remember
– it is All About the Gospel
! This is a time for Good News and Hope in a perfect future!
Praying for Revival and Spiritual Awakening!
