From the Corner Office

A note from Maggie Pritchard...

Friends, please join us on Tuesday, October 24th for Sarah Blacker in concert at the Colonial Theater in Laconia. This event is not only a musical treat, but also a vital fundraising event for LRMHC. All proceeds support our mission.

Happening at LRMHC

Following her performance, Sarah Blacker will participate in a panel of other experts and those whose lives have been positively impacted by music and art therapies. Join us after the show to gain valuable insight into the music therapy licensure and accreditation process and, and the profound impact that music and the arts can have on the healing journey.

Purchase Tickets

LRMHC will receive $1 for every Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet purchased in November at Hannaford in Meredith.

Stay tuned for more information!

On October 1st, team LRMHC joined NAMI NH to walk for suicide awareness and education- and raised $2,545 for the cause.

Thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers for joining this event.

Updates and Success Stories

  • Lakes Region Community College volunteers joined us for Granite United Day of Caring on September 22nd to help us with maintenance at our housing facilities.

  • 130 people attended the Anxious Nation screening held in partnership with CADY at the Flying Monkey in Plymouth on October 5th.

  • Staff presented at the Guardian ad Litum Community Services Orientation was conducted on October 13th at Lakes Region Community Services.

  • One Critical Time Intervention (CTI) patient shared that because they are finally receiving the support and services they need, they've had a significant decrease in symptoms of mental illness.

  • A patient who has not allowed visitors or left her home or has since pre-Covid has worked with their therapist to reduce anxiety and has been able to slowly bring others into their home- and has even scheduled a home visit!

  • Integrated care in action: nursing sent a patient to the Emergency Room after presenting with very low blood pressure. Fortunately, the patient was discharged after being observed and stabilized in the ER. After being offered some education from the nursing staff here at LRMHC, the patient has become more aware of hypo and hyperglycemia symptoms.

The Partnership Committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at

40 Beacon St. E, Laconia, Room 118.

Open to all patients, this is a place to share stories and insight on all things related to LRMHC services, to ensure we have satisfied patients and addressed any unmet needs.

Lunch is provided!

Contact Chris Grasso to participate, or with questions.
