Maria Waddy is an experienced transportation industry professional with experience working with clients, vendors and industry leaders to develop connectivity solutions to meet the evolving market needs of the transportation industry.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation technology sector and is committed to the customer experience and working with clients to evaluate the market and designing solutions and new products to meet their needs and improve the experience they provide their customers.

Maria has a BS in Public Communications from Syracuse University and a MS in Strategic Marketing from Johns Hopkins University.
Amanda Trainor Patrick
VP Trade Shows & Board Relations, Railway Supply Institute
President, League of Railway Women
Amanda Trainor Patrick is the Vice President of Trade Shows & Board Relations at the Railway Supply Institute (RSI) located in Washington, DC.

Amanda is honored to serve as the President of the League Railway Women (2019 – 2021).

In 2019, she was named a Progressive Railroading Rising Star which is given to a person who is viewed by others as an up-and-coming leader in the rail industry.

Amanda is the mom to three curious and tenacious girls and lives in Falls Church, Virginia.

Amanda enjoys reading, gardening, the Washington Nationals, and being outside exploring with her family.
Pam Arpin
AVP Customer and Corporate Services, CP
A seasoned railway professional, since joining Canadian Pacific in 1997, Pam Arpin has held a variety of positions in Sales, Customer Service, Finance and Operations before being named Assistant Vice-President Customer and Corporate Services in 2017.

Pam oversees CP’s Network Service Centre, a leading edge operation unique in the railway industry due to its integrative approach to managing a wide variety of services under one roof. Leading a diverse team of 375 employees, in this shared services role, she oversees CP’s customer service, operational, financial and human resources support functions, as well as leading development and implementation of improvements to these services through process and technology innovation.

Through her outstanding team and ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, she has led some of CP’s most successful technological programs, earning her a 2018 CP CEO Award for Excellence and two Presidents’ Awards throughout her career.

Pam is also the recipient of the League of Railway Women (LRW) 2019 Railway Woman of the Year award as well being named one of 2019 Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women's Executive Network (WXN).

Pam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan.
Summer Blasquez
Director, Commercial Pricing & Contracts Administration, The Greenbrier Companies
Summer Blasquez has worked at Greenbrier for over seven years and in numerous departments, from supporting attorneys to working with sales reps on request for car quotes to managing new car builds with customers navigating the new car manufacturing process.
As Director of Commercial Pricing & Contracts Administration, Summer oversees new car pricing, formal responses to customers for new and existing railcars, initiation of Commercial agreements and participates in Commercial’s side of the production planning process.
Summer’s interest in the industry began as a child; her father worked in transportation for 40 years. She finds rail’s place in the global economy fascinating and enjoys working across departments to learn more about railcars and commodities.
Summer holds a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University and a MBA from Marylhurst University.
Dr. Renee Simons
Clinical Psychologist, Edgewood Pediatric Services
Renee Simons is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and host of the forthcoming podcast, The Connected Family.

Founder of Alliance Pediatric Psychology, Renee brings her six years of clinical experience in helping children, teens, and families overcome the problem of disconnection.

Her thought leadership has led her to be featured in Bermuda Parent Magazine and The Royal Gazette.

A member of the Bermuda Psychological Association, Renee is focused on helping modern-day families overcome the challenges of staying connected in our technological age.
