Lake Superior College is ALL IN to vote in 2020!
President Rogers has proudly signed Lake Superior College up for the the All In Challenge, joining hundreds of other campuses and college presidents throughout the country in a commitment to encourage voter participation.
ALL IN launched ALLIntoVote.org as a one-stop website for campuses and students to navigate the voting process. This free site provides students with non-partisan information and tools to pledge to vote, register to vote, confirm their voter registration, determine how and where to vote, and understand what is on their ballot.
As a signatory of the Presidents' Commitment, the Lake Superior College campus community has full access to these resources. With the shifts in regulations around vote by mail, and as the needs for absentee ballot requests change, this site will become an essential tool for helping campuses navigate support for their geographically diverse student bodies. LSC Student Senate and Student Life, as well as many others, have already been helping encourage voter participation - thank you! Let's finish strong, less than a week to go. Let's encourage all IceHawks to get out and vote.

Lake Superior College TRIO advisor Dr. Marsha Lue featured on Almanac North
LSC's Dr. Marsha Lue was interviewed on Almanac North last Friday, where she discussed ongoing efforts at the K-12 and college levels to improve the graduation rate among Native students and support students of color. Watch the full episode.
TRIO programs were among the first national access and retention programs to address social and cultural barriers in America. The programs are designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and help them succeed. We're fortunate to have such a dedicated TRIO team here at Lake Superior College. Great job representing LSC, Marsha!
