Minnesota State Mankato, Lake Superior College Announce Aviation Pilot Program
Articulation Agreement
Minnesota State University, Mankato and Lake Superior College announced an articulation transfer agreement that will enable a smooth transition for aviation students to complete degree programs at each institution. The announcement was held on Friday at the LSC Center for Advanced Aviation with LSC, Minnesota State University, Mankato, LSC Foundation, Duluth Airport Authority officials and aviation faculty and students in attendance.
The articulation agreement is designed to promote student completion of the Associate of Applied Science in Professional Pilot degree at Lake Superior College and then provide a seamless transfer to Minnesota State Mankato’s Bachelor of Science in Aviation degree program.

The agreement specifies admission and graduation requirements of each institution’s program as well as course and credit requirements in each of the two programs. The event was streamed live by KBJR's social media and was the station's most viewed news story over the weekend. The event received outstanding media coverage including: the Duluth News-Tribune, HowieBlog, Fox 21, CBS3, Mankato Free Press, and KEYC.
