Lake Superior College Partners With Local Dentists to Provide Free Dental Care for Children on Give Kids A Smile Day
Lake Superior College’s awesome Dental Hygiene instructors and students teamed up with several generous local dentists who volunteered their time and talent to provide free dental care for over 45 children as part of the Minnesota Dental Association’s Give Kids a Smile Day at LSC’s Dental Hygiene Clinic.

THANK YOU to the dentists who participated: Dr. Ross Anderson, Dr. Karen Conry, Dr. Gary Hedin, Dr. Rob Johnson, Dr. Gary Madison, Dr. Grant Nelson and Dr. Eileen Patterson!

The Give Kids a Smile program is a statewide outreach effort coordinated by the Minnesota Dental Association whose members are committed to providing all children with dental care and improving access to care throughout Minnesota.

WDIO , Fox21 and KBJR TV all provided excellent media coverage of Give Kids A Smile Day, further highlighting LSC's commitment to being Our Community's College. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success!
Another Great Student Success Day!

Student Success Day was once again, well, a success! It's a special day set aside each semester to support LSC students' academic and personal success! According to Tutoring and Learning Center Director and event organizer Jenna Trenberth, final attendance for the day was 584 students. She noted that there was a lot of good energy on campus, and students had glowing feedback about their sessions and the overall day. Thank you to everyone involved! Great media coverage on Fox21.
