Dear Colleagues:
Next week we kick off Lone Star College Foundation’s Annual Employee Giving Campaign!
The Campaign theme, “One Lone Star College” celebrates LSC’s first cultural belief of collaborating and building relationships with each other and our students. We know how important this is, as we work to equip every student for ultimate success and removing financial barriers through scholarships and emergency assistance plays a big role in these efforts.
Thank you to our LSC-Houston North Ambassadors, Liz Bueno and Sara McAdams, for leading this effort, and thank you also to our Team Leaders for all their hard work.

The Employee Giving Campaign promotes awareness of the opportunity for employees to make monetary donations to LSC Foundation, which are then distributed to support student scholarships, college programs, as well as student and employee emergency assistance.
Since 2015, an average of 38% of LSC employees have raised more than $1.2 million in support of these efforts. Our LSC-Houston North participation goal for 2023 is 25% with a focus on our three main student assistance funds, Panther Pact, Care Center, and Faculty Senate Emergency. I know together we can do this for our students and each
other!
LSC Foundation has been removing financial barriers to student success for over 30 years! Since its inception in 1991, more than 22,000 students have benefitted from more than $23.1 million in scholarships, along with over $9 million in program and emergency funding. In 2022-2023, LSC Foundation provided $2.6 million in scholarships to 2,445 students plus $850,000 program and emergency support to Lone Star College.
Participation in Employee Giving is easy, and you may allocate your donation to the fund of your choice. Additionally, your participation in this campaign is completely voluntary, confidential and 100% tax-deductible. You will receive more information on Employee Giving from your Ambassadors, Team Leaders, and LSC Foundation
Office throughout the Campaign, which runs from October 2-27, 2023.
