THANK YOU to all our generous donors who have

participated in Lake Stewards of Maine’s year-end appeal!

Every day we feel the impact of your gifts. LSM is gearing up for an ambitious 2025, and your support will fund planning, preparing, and training more lake steward volunteers. We’re very grateful to you for making this possible!

If you haven't had a chance to contribute yet, there is still time to send your year-end gift to LSM. Whether you choose a regular monthly contribution or a one-time donation, your support makes a real difference to the breadth and scope of our lake protection work.

Follow this link to make a donation, send a check to LSM, 24 Maple Hill Rd., Auburn, ME 04210, or give us a call at (207) 783-7733. Thank you!

Several $1,000 gifts to LSM have been matched so far by a generous donor. We have almost reached our matching goal. A few more contributions at the $1000 level will get us to the $10,000 mark for the current year-end appeal matching opportunity!

No matter whether your gift is $25 or $2500, your support will be instrumental in advancing LSM’s work to protect lakes and ponds in Maine.

We wish you a healthy and happy New Year,

and we look forward to seeing you out on Maine’s lakes in 2025!

Thank you for helping protect Maine’s lakes!

❄️Help Track Ice Cover

on Maine Lakes! ❄️

Ice comes and goes - that's nature's cycle. But it seems that increasingly, lakes are losing ice in late December or January due to warm bursts.

📝 Submit Your Observations

Your observations are crucial! Whether it's ice forming or melting, your reports help us better understand Maine’s changing climate. The on-and-off patterns we’re seeing make tracking tricky, but we’ve got resources to guide you.
