Water Quality Certification Workshops

Schedule Now Available


The 2026 training schedule and map are now available. Workshops are offered statewide with support from local boat hosts, making it easier to get certified or recertified near you.



Reminder: a certified DO meter must be brought to any dissolved oxygen session. LSM does have rental options available.

Invasive Plant Patrol Webinar: IPP 101

 

In this 3-hour online class, participants will explore the background of Aquatic Invasive Plants in Maine, learn key identification features for the 15 Invaders on Maine's watch list, and find out how to get involved in early detection efforts.

Summer 2026 Internship

Accepting Applications!


Lake Stewards of Maine is accepting applicants for summer 2026 interns.


Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.


The Lake Programs Field Intern will primarily assist operations of the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) team, with additional assistance provided to the Water Quality (WQ) team, as well as general LSM operations.
