CTP 2021 Minimum Daily Benefit Levels

The minimum daily benefit levels for Partnership policies applied for in 2021 will be $299.00 for nursing home care and $149.50 for home care. The 2021 minimum levels represent a 3.0% increase from 2020. The annual allowable minimums also pertain to existing policyholders who wish to reduce their daily benefit, depending on carrier availability.

Merger Announcement

In a move that will have minimal effects on policyholders, Transamerica Premier Life Insurance Company (TPLIC) merged into Transamerica Life Insurance Company (TLIC) on October 1, 2020. Premium Rate Action
 
Effective September 21, 2020, Genworth implemented rate action on in-force business in Arizona and Maryland. Effective September 28, 2020, it implemented rate action on in-force business in Alaska, Hawaii, and Wisconsin. Effective October 5 2020, it implemented rate action on in-force business in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Click the links below for more info.
