Restrictions Lifted for those Ages 65+ in 10 Additional States

Effective July 20, 2020 , Mutual of Omaha resumed taking applications on those ages 65+ in 10 additional states, including Kentucky , Maine , Minnesota , New Hampshire , New Mexico , North Carolina , Ohio , Pennsylvania , Vermont , and Virginia .

In these states, underwriting will review the application and medical records, and if the information is favorable, they will proceed with ordering the face-to-face.

Please note, Mutual of Omaha is continuing to evaluate the lifting of restrictions for the remaining states of California, Oregon , and Washington . Until then, these states must follow the guidelines and processes outlined in the temporary underwriting guideline communication .
