Our Story - Reflections from the LUM Leaders
Board of Directors President & Executive Director
In Human Resources, there are “generalists” who know about all areas so that they can better assist others. As you review the incredible work of LUM in this report, you may focus on one area that you have passion for, but
I challenge you to become a generalist, so that you know a little bit about the breadth and depth of our organization and its reach into our community. How better to communicate to your world why you are a LUM supporter?

Thank you for being a part of our LUM community. You make LUM possible. Blessings.
Barb Tyner, LUM Board President
One of the early followers of Jesus wrote, “My God shall meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” In 2023, God met the needs of many people LUM serves. God provided for needs for finances, volunteers, shelter, prayers, food, encouragement, education, and hope – and God did it through people such as YOU.

Thank you, and thanks be to God for you. As you read this report, enjoy knowing you are part of the substantial impact LUM makes every day and night.
Wesley Tillett, LUM Executive Director
Above are just a few ways that LUM Programs impacted and engaged the community in 2023 by tackling basic human needs and uplifting the people of Greater Lafayette.
