LUM Has Made a Difference in Just Five Weeks

In the past five weeks, the LUM Tax Assistance Program has already made a significant impact on our community by filing 420 individual income tax returns.

Led by Dan Guckien, the LUM Tax Assistance Program relies on the dedication of skilled, IRS-certified volunteers who provide free, one-on-one tax preparation to individuals who may not otherwise have access to professional assistance.

Why the LUM Tax Assistance Program Matters

  • BOOSTS the local economy by increasing spending and job creation
  • SUPPORTS lower-wage workers who can’t afford professional tax services
  • ENSURE families receive federal and state tax benefits
  • PREVENTS tax credits from going unclaimed by eligible individuals

LUM is deeply grateful for the LUM Tax Assistance Team, whose commitment ensures families receive critical financial resources. {Pictured - Joe Braun, member of the LUM Tax Assistance Team.}
