"Remembering the Saints" with Kathie Fishbeck and Ginny Finnel
All of us have been influenced by special people who have contributed to who we are and who we will continue to be. Some of those people have died and are no longer a physical part of our lives, yet their influence on us continues. In this service, we will honor these people, especially those who have died recently.
Members and friends are encouraged to share the names and a brief message about these important people. If you wish to share a photo during the service, please contact Ginny Finnel

"Does This Serve Me?"
with Rev. Karon Sandberg
Our life experiences lead us to develop behaviors that make us feel safe. But as we mature, wisdom, love, and even forgiveness can seep in and make us wonder, do these behaviors actually serve me anymore?
Karon is an ordained UU minister who spent her ministry as a hospice chaplain. She marveled at the lessons her dying patients taught her about how to live. She is now enjoying retirement with her husband Joel and her family.

"Wounded Healers" with Rev Tony Larsen
Tony's sermon will be on the differences between "healing" and "curing." Though we often use these words interchangeably, to be cured usually means to have a disease or defect taken away--while to be healed can often mean to live with it and still be whole. Both are important, of course, but one has very dynamic spiritual overtones. And, ironically, the best healers are often the wounded ones.
Tony is retired after more than 40 years as a Unitarian Universalist minister. He received his BA in Philosophy and his MA in Theology from Maryknoll College. He continued his education with his Doctor of Ministry from Meadville/Lombard Theological School.
Join us in celebration and joy as we welcome new members to LUUF during the November 22nd service. We celebrate the light you bring and the brilliance when we gather in shared purpose and love. If you are interested in joining our fellowship and want more information contact Kathy Bernhart

"Talking 'bout my Veneration"
with Karl Bjornerud
Religion plays a huge part in the personal and civic lives of most people today. But the concept of religion remains amorphous; what is religion? What makes a person religious? We will discuss definitions of religion through anthropological, sociological, and linguistic lenses, and try to arrive at an idea of what religion is, can be, and perhaps should become.
Karl holds an MA in Biblical Studies from United Theological Seminary in the Twin Cities and a BA in Ecology, Anthropology, and Religion from Hamline University. Karl lives in Sheboygan.
Last Sunday of each month we have a collection for the charities we support, along with our monthly Pot Luck. Please come even if you don't prepare a dish to pass, we always have more than enough.
