Celebrate with Us!

LWVMA is celebrating 100 years, and invites you to the (non-Zoom) virtual party!

Next Sunday, December 13, from 1:00-2:30pm, they'll host a fabulous fireside chat and live Q&A, “Massachusetts Post-Pandemic: A New Social Compact?” featuring Dr. Danielle Allen of Harvard University, widely known for her work on justice and citizenship. The engaging emcee and moderator will be Smaiyra Million, Director of the Butler Institute for Free Enterprise through Entrepreneurship at Babson College. Pam Wilmot, Vice President of State Operations for Common Cause, will receive the Lucy Stone Lifetime Achievement award for her outstanding work to improve democracy in Massachusetts.

LWVMA is also honoring certain Formidable Women of local Leagues, including our own Catherine Keppler! Catherine is a former science teacher and valued member of our Voter Services Committee who spearheaded our youth voter registration and engagement efforts. We're delighted to shine a spotlight on her and her amazing contributions—thank you, Catherine!

Click here for all the details, and register now! The deadline to register is 7:00pm this Friday, December 11.
