Power of the Vote - Wednesday, February 28, 6:00-8:00 pm, Oak Park Library, public forum sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, panel discussion.

Election Judges Needed- The March 20 Primary Election in suburban Cook County requires a team of election judges and equipment managers to serve voters at the polls.  These poll workers are paid $190-$340 depending on the position they work on election day.  For more information go here.

One Earth Film FestivalLWV OPRF is a proud sponsor of the One Earth Film Festival that runs from March 2-11. Films are being shown at various locations. LWV 100th Anniversary - The League of Women Voters was founded by Carrie Chapman Catt on February 14, 1920 in Chicago. Committees have been formed to prepare to celebrate this important anniversary. If you are interested in helping, read how to here. Let's plan a great party!
Voter Registration
Last Thursday, our Deputy Registrars visited Fenwick High School and registered 90 students! Our young people are taking steps to become more involved citizens. Thanks to Marge Massarello, Kathy Perry, Linda Valentine, Margaret Prechel, and Peggy Kell for their efforts on the day.
