Second Tuesday 
The December 13 Second Tuesday presentation will be from the Oak Park OWL group.  Oak Park Our Whole Lives will discuss their program for comprehensive sexuality education for grades K-8. T he doors open at the Nineteenth Century Club, 178 Forest Ave., Oak Park, at 9:00 am for coffee, with the discussion starting at 9:30 am. This program is free and open to the public, so bring a friend!
Sarah's Inn Training
During the first week of December, Sarah's Inn is providing PAIP Facilitator Training. This Partner Abuse Intervention Program will target professionals who work with or intend to work with perpetrators of domestic violence. For more information, refer to the  registration flyer.
New Members
We would like to welcome four more new members to our League.  They are Debbie Noonan, Evalyn Grant, Cleraine Camper, and Paula Lukanic.  Please join us in extending a big League hello to our new members!
Voter Service
Well, the November elections are done but there is no rest for the Voter Service Committee.  We will now begin to gear up for the April 4, 2017 municipal elections.  Our first meeting will be Monday, December 12, at 7:00 pm to discuss voter registration and candidate forums. All interested members are invited to attend. To RSVP or for more information contact  Peggy Kell .
January Member Coffee
Calling all Current, New, and Prospective Members!
Remember to mark your calendars now for the January 14, 2017 Annual Coffee.  Krista Grimm and Sarah Shirk, representatives from the LWV Lake Michigan Region will be discussing "LWV-Lake Michigan Region: Tips on How to be a Great Lakes Advocate". This Saturday gathering will take place at the Oak Park Township Meeting Room, 130 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park, from 10:00 am - Noon. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.  Please RSVP by January 12, 2017 to
