WHAT IS LEADERSHIP PALM BEACH COUNTY? By Debra Chandler Leadership Engage is a comprehensive study of Palm Beach County’s leading industries and most pressing issues. Participants meet for one full day each month for nine months and complete a Civic Engagement project. Each year, a new class is chosen to participate in this program. Admission to the program is very competitive. This year, Debra Chandler, LWVPBC 1st Vice President, is a proud class member. Look for her monthly updates in future issues of NEWS. RHONDA ROGERS ENGAGES YOUNG LEAGUERS!   On October 11, Young Leaguers gathered at Bru’s Room in Boynton Beach to hear Rhonda Rogers, Executive Director of Lake Worth West Community Center/ Bridges. Rhonda explained the many ways her center is impacting the local community. She then divided the audience into three groups to discuss how they could be helpful in their own spheres of influence.
