Milo is a rustic yet elegant DK weight yarn that is great for any project where you want good drape. Milo is a Merino (65%)/Linen (35%) blend, so you get the knit-ability of Merino with the drape of Linen. The two fibers take the dye differently so you get a natural, subtle heather.

It's Farmers Market season, and Katie and I have been busy creating cotton bags to show off Coastal Cotton Coral Reef and Ocean Mist yarns by Queensland! Both yarns are soft and vibrant 100% machine washable cotton available in beautiful variegated colors!

Katie crocheted the Elmer bag using 3 skeins of Coral Reef. I knit both the Marge bag and Market Square bag using 2 skeins of Ocean Mist for each project.

Our next Sip & Stitch is on Weds May 8th, which is actually the 2nd week in May. I've shifted the date by a week due to a conflict with the H&H trade show that I'll be attending.

Come by the shop between 4 - 6 PM to socialize, sample wines, and stitch! Course & Wale wine makers from Paso Robles pour their wines, Knit One (Cab Sav), Purl Two (Chard), and Tink (Rose) and I provide light snacks.
