A Note From Chef Brian 

Welcome Home Erin and Joe!

Back in March of 2014, Fleurie and Petit Pois were blessed with the additions of Joseph Scala as our General Manager and Erin Barbour Scala as our Beverage Director and Event Coordinator. Welcoming them to our restaurants was a dream come true for me and a grand homecoming for them. Both spent formative years in Charlottesville and both previously worked at Fleurie-- Joe as a host, food runner, and server from 2002-2004, and Erin as a server and business manager from 2006-2008. 

Those of you who have been in to see us recently have undoubtedly noticed the countless improvements to our ambience, service, and beverage programs. What you may not have noticed is the joy and freedom their presences have afforded me. It is truly an honor and a pleasure to work with such talented people! Now, as the calendar turns to a new year, I am ecstatic to announce that Joe has joined the business as my partner. 

Our partnership is the culmination of over 10 years of friendship, mutual respect, and a common vision of just how great our restaurants can become. It promises to steer Fleurie and Petit Pois forward on a path of stability, improvement, and most of all, fun! Moreover, we are committed to growing our business and very much look forward to doing so in the coming year. 

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to meet Erin and Joseph, please stop in and say hello. I'm certain you'll be as happy as I am that they are once again part of the Charlottesville community and a part of our small family of restaurants.
