LA NINA WINTER PREDICTED, SNOW?

Fresh snow this past week on Mt Hood signals the coming winter. Coincidentally, Area meteorologists and weather enthusiasts gathered Saturday in Portland to discuss the coming winter weather forecast. One thing they agreed on is that a weak La Niña is developing over the Pacific Ocean, indicating a cooler and potentially wetter winter for much of the Pacific Northwest. “I think we’re definitely going to see snow this winter,” said April Elliott, an Avangrid Renewables meteorologist. “I also think that we do have a chance of seeing some ice as well, so I would highly suggest getting those preparations in order.”

Whether we're providing our regular landscape maintenance or offering winter storm services, we closely monitor the weather and its impact on our work. We’re prepared for whatever winter has in store for us.

And We Are Gearing Up For Leaf Removal

For now, we're focused on fall clean-up as the rain and cooler weather set in. We'll be very busy over the next two months collecting leaves as they fall. Winter is approaching, and while we’re monitoring the forecast, our priority remains on managing the autumn leaves.
