See the exciting designs
for the Interface Project!
The view from La Vista looks pretty great these days, especially along Corridor 84!

Construction in City Centre is still progressing, Civic Center Park is open and everyday people are walking the trails and enjoying the views.

But there’s always room for improvement. We’re planning the future of our parks and green spaces, both along Corridor 84 and throughout the City.

Part of that future will include the public spaces that interface between Civic Center Park, The Astro Theater music venue and the rest of City Centre.
We are excited to share the design of these spaces with you!

Curbside Service available
at the Library
The La Vista Public Library is offering limited curbside pick-up service to patrons.

This service is available to those who currently have a library card and will take place when the Library is open.

There are three options to request materials from the Library during this time:
  1. Call 402-537-3900.
  2. Send an e-mail to [email protected].
  3. Place a hold on the desired materials by visiting the Library’s online catalog (www.cityoflavista.org/librarycatalog) and logging in to your account.

Patrons must have less than $60 in overdue fines.

When requested materials are ready to be picked up, Library staff will call the patron with a specified pick-up day and time. To pick-up materials, patrons will arrive at their designated time on the west side of the Library.

Materials can be returned at any time using the book drop on the west side of the building. Any items too large for the book drop, such as board games, should not be returned until the Library is open again. Patrons will not be allowed to return items to staff when retrieving other items.

All staff will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing whenever possible, and all materials will be sanitized before being distributed and after being returned to the Library.
